I think that this blogging experience has been fun, I think that I would have never thought about blogging until I came upon this class. I will truly continue to write posts up here and comment on your posts also. I might not get as many followers, but if I tried to I would make a lot more posts, change my name or title, fancy my page up, and go comment on more people's blogs. I would be able to influence the power of the blog by maybe recommending it to many people. If the charts were at 2,000,000 users a day, on BLOGSPOT, I would try to increase that by getting people to use it, that I maybe work with or know.

CM229 Unit 7 Seminar

In the seminar I learned that: How to do in text citations (Authorlastname, YEAR, P.??). I know that it is required to have to input sources in your papers.

Q: What is the difference between revising and editing?
A: Revising- to amend or alter (make different)
Editing- to prepare, arrange, and correct
I learned about the thought process as well.

How to avoid plagiarism?

To avoid plagiarism, you would want to make sure all your statements from a source have citations, and references. Another way to avoid plagiarism, is to always give the author credit for his/her work, and to give credit for authors work, you would be giving acknowledgment that the work was not your own idea, by using quotation marks, or paraphrase the information. Whenever you paraphrase, or quote material from a source, make sure you give all the necessary information, so that you can put this information on your reference page. If the information is the authors word for word, place quotation marks around the phrase. Also if you use the author’s words, but you put them in your own words, this is called paraphrasing.

     Today has been great so far. I went to work and had a wonderful time. Today has been joyous to me because I have been doing everything that has been planned for me today.

     Today has been a achievable day for me. I went to work everything thing went pretty well, when I got off of work I rested for a couple of hours, I was beginning to have a tooth ache, but I didn't let that stop me from wanting to continue in doing my online class work for the day. Patience and discipline is needed to achieve my goals with my Kaplan courses, along with every day life experiences and I have all of that, but sometimes it is an extreme handful. I love it all, nothing beats a failure but a try.

Hello Class Members

Hello,
Last week we had quite a rainfall in Newport News, VA. It was pouring down. I had a little slight accident with my car, not so good. This week has been much better considering that it's not raining anymore. It is starting to get colder as Fall approaches. The leaves are starting to fall too! You can already see the colors of the leaves being brought out. I hope everyone is having fun with their blog. I will be stopping by to comment on your blog posts.
